Je me retrouve à courir
Dans le bois en arrière de chez nous
J'ai eu peur de mourir
Quand le gros s'est relevé
En se frottant le genou droit
Il m'a pris par la cheville
Je lui ai écrasé les doigts
Il gueulait :
"Il est parti par là!"

Je suis en cavale
Il faudrait que je retourne en ville
Le chemin de gravier
Est à deux milles
Si je vais tout droit

Je pensais pas être capable
De courir tout ce temps-là
Ça fait que j'ai grimpé dans un arbre
En attendant que mon pouls redescende

Enfin, je suis rendu au chemin
J'espère qu'il y a quelqu'un
Je pense que j'ai vu des lumières au loin
Oui, y a un char qui s'en vient
Je saute au milieu de la route
Le chauffeur pèse sur le frein
J'ai gueulé :

"Mon gars, je suis dans' marde!
Y a deux beef qui me courent après.
Ils cherchaient quelque chose d'important dans ma cave,
je sais pas c'était quoi."
Le chauffeur est sorti de son char
Avec un bâton de baseball
Il m'a dit :
"Justement, on te cherchait."
Fait que là, je suis dans le coffre de son char

I find myself running
In the woods behind my place
I thought I was gonna die
When the fat one got up
Rubbing his right knee
He grabbed me by the ankle
I crushed his fingers
He was yelling:
“He went that way!”

I’m on the run
I should head back to the city
The gravel road
Is two miles away
If I go straight ahead

I didn’t think I’d manage
To run the whole time
So I climbed up into a tree
Until my pulse came back down

Finally, I’ve reached the road
I hope there’s somebody here
I think I saw some lights a ways off
Yes, there’s a car approaching
I jumped in the middle of the road
The driver hit the brakes
I yelled:

“Dude, I’m in deep shit!
There’re two meatheads running after me.
They were looking for something important in my cellar,
I don’t know what it is.”

The driver got out of his car
With a baseball bat
He said to me:
“Right, we were looking for you.”
So now, I’m in the trunk of his car
